Summer Gatherings
Summer is when church rhythms break and people drift. We don't want that for us. That's why we're inviting anyone to host a Summer Gathering — a casual hang with people you care about. Backyard BBQ? Dog walk? Board games? Whatever brings you joy. Deadline: May 31.
Summer is almost here, and we're inviting you to do something simple but important: host a Summer Gathering.
What's a Summer Gathering?
It's anything that helps our people stay connected when the season pulls us apart. Think backyard gatherings, park walks, board games, ice cream runs, service projects, porch hangs, whatever brings your people together. It's casual, it's low-pressure, and it's all about community.
Why does this matter?
Summer is when church rhythms break. Schedules scatter, routines shift, and it's easy for people to drift. But these small moments matter more than we think. A gathering might be where someone feels welcomed. Where a friendship deepens. Where we're reminded that we don't have to do life alone.
That's why we need you.
How to Host
Dream up your Summer Gathering — what do you love doing? Do that. Joy is contagious.
Fill out a simple form by May 31.
We will get you the details and add you to our calendar.
You host. We show up. That's it.
A few pro-tips:
The earlier you submit, the more time people have to see it and sign up.
Plan something YOU enjoy doing. Your joy matters. It's contagious.
If you're nervous, bring a friend to co-host. More fun. Shared responsibility.
Who can host?
Anyone who wants to gather people they know around something they love (food, coffee, pickleball, etc).
